Maple Garden Restaurant in Eugene

Passing through Eugene, arrived 20 minutes to closing and the customer service was terrific. They have lots of choices on the menu from traditional Chinese fare to Americanized Chinese food. Dining area is clean. Had the Ma La ribs and chicken fried rice. The Ma La ribs was nicely seasoned with a spicy kick, reminiscent of Mongolian beef on steroids, but a little chewy. The chicken fried rice complemented the Ma La ribs well, but alone would need soy sauce.

I have been going to this place for years. It's the real quality and there super nice and it's on the University collage area. Great food and good prices. I love this place and I have to go there every week. Nice day and night. M+L.

Ordered a #7 it had one piece of shrimp and like 2 pieces of marfar chicken. Rice and noodles were cold.

Really good fried rice and noodles. Waiter was really sweet. He was wearing like a jade necklace? He helped me close a box because I'm too dumb to figure it out. Really loved eating there.

Yummy! I had the #6 veggie lo mein with steamed rice (no onions; personal preference). It is the tastiest I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well. There was a little kick with spice. I could eat this every day.

The best chicken fried rice a guy could ask for. It's worth trying everything on the menu, even though there's so much to choose from.

Terrible. I ordered Hot and sour soup and it tasted like someone filled the bowl with soy sauce. The mandarin chicken wasn't even chicken, just fried chucks of uneatable fat and gristle. Save your money. So gross.

Seen the reviews, went there pretty much instantly from home. Got the shrimp chow mein, delicious as it gets, def recommend

This is the BBQ Pork I got. It was like jerky. Very Dry and stale. Not worth almost $9. This place was good in the past. What happened?

I love this place. I have been going here since I was a freshman at UO in 1999 and the taste has remained consistently awesome each time. Why? The same cook that has been cooking the Best Chicken Fried Rice is still there. I don’t know what they put in it but it is the best, hands down! I live in Portland but when I visit Eugene, the Maple Garden is my must eat. I want more of that Chicken Fried Rice Now!

Worst meal at a Chinese restaurant in decades. Deep fried items had been precooked and warmed up, batter dipped shrimp shells were not shrimp, 1 broccoli floret and a piece of carrot were the extent of vegetables. When I went back the next morning they were argumentative and refused a refund. Just go elsewhere.

They have great hours. They have great portion sizes.And good quality.

The service is constantly speedy, fantastic ambience, nice staff members. Will come back again when I arrive in town.

A few friends told me about this place so when I got the chance I went. The food was standard though customer service was impeccable.

Best Chinese food in the university area, authentic Asian cuisine. Try the pork buns and fish soup.

Excellent service and good food. The food can taste greasy so I don't recommend visiting all the time but once in a while it is good.

checks my boxes for Good Dining Experience given that food is served nice and hot, generally well-lit environ and Sauces are viscous. have returned many times over several years with friends, who are strong enthusiasts and regard this establishment as an Institution. fish tank adds much to atmosphere of wholesomeness.

Wanted some Chinese food and this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life next to the old Lok Yaun! The chicken tasted old & dry, the rice was nasty, & the side of shrimp had more bread than shrimp. The prices are expensive but you don’t know that because the prices are in Chinese!HORRIBLE! I threw it away! Very nasty

Love this place! Been going here for 20 years now. My favorite is Pan Fried Chicken with Garlic Sauce and a side of white rice. The best!
